Three reasons that prove City are running scared of Liverpool

The Record

City hate playing at Anfield. Their record there is awful, and a number, if not all, of the players have bad memories from past games.

You have to go back to May 2003 for the Citizens last victory away to Liverpool. The Red’s record since is played 17, won 12, drawn 5.

If we go deeper and look at the records of the managers against each other, there is further evidence in favor of Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has a 57% win rate against Pep. More than any other manager that has faced him regularly (10+ games). In fact, he’s the only one with a winning record against Pep.

So there you have it. Three reasons why even despite Liverpool having lost two of the last three games, Manchester City will not be confident heading into any game at Anfield.
