Liverpool’s scariest 5-a-side team: Do you agree?

It’s almost that time of year again, folks. Time for kids to beg their neighbors for free candy, and party-goers to get dressed up as “sexy”/”dead” versions of their favorite things.

As we approach Halloween, we’ve taken a look back through the archives to come up with what we think is the scariest Liverpool five-a-side team ever.

Take a look and see if you agree. We know for sure we wouldn’t want to bump into these guys in a dark alley!

Tommy Lawrence

The sadly now late Tommy Lawrence was undoubtedly a key figure in Liverpool history, and a fine keeper for Bill Shankly’s side in the 1960’s.

The Scotman’s made over 300 appearances for the club, and won two League Championships and an FA Cup.

However, the nickname “The Flying Pig” is not earned lightly.

It was always joked that Lawrence was carrying a bit of excess timber, and he certainly looked like the type of player that would be ready for a Sunday Amateur League scrap on a hangover.
