Liverpool Twitter has hit out at ‘moaning’ fans after the Reds could only draw 1-1 with Arsenal at the Emirates.

James Milner opened the scoring in north London before substitute Alex Iwobi set up striker Alexandre Lacazette, who equalized in the 82nd minute.

But some Reds fans aren’t happy with this outcome, and took to the social media to complain about the way Jurgen Klopp’s team performed.

And despite leaving the field as league leaders, some Liverpool fans seem intent on applying an impossible standard to the side – and want them to win every single match.

That’s what some big LFC accounts have taken to Twitter to hit out against. Klopp has done an excellent job this season, overseeing eight wins out of 11 games and fixing the previously troubled defence.

Virgil van Dijk has an excellent buy, but the German has also got the best out of Joe Gomez and it looks like the pair could form a formidable partnership at the back for years to come.

Manchester City take on Southampton on Sunday and you’d expect them to win, but even if they do Pep Guardiola’s side will only go two points above Liverpool and that keeps the Reds well within touching distance of last season’s winners.

You see, there is no need to panic.

It might be disappointing that the team conceded a late goal and weren’t able to capitalise on early chances. And yes, it’s frustrating that Sadio Mane had his goal disallowed when it shouldn’t be – but if that goes in the negative brigade go away for another week.

Focusing on the short-term means that the long-term success are brushed under the carpet. Liverpool have taken 27 points out of 33 and already played four of the best sides in the league, conceding only five goals in the process.

Klopp and his team have been excellent this season, give them a break.
