Midfield options to increase the Reds title hopes

Federico Chiesa – Fiorentina

The suspected asking price for the Fiorentina attacker is £44 million, and while he plays on the wing for Fiorentina, a move to Liverpool could signal a move to the midfield.

He could play in an advanced midfield role and would use his speed to advance the attack in the same way as Brandt.

He is well adjusted to a counter-attacking scheme, where he can use his quick feet and burst to create a quick attack.

While Chiesa should not be the top option, if Fekir or Brandt are moved elsewhere or the asking price is deemed too high, Chiesa is a nice option to provide more midfield speed.
