Bristol City youngster Lloyd Kelly hasn’t played that many senior games, but he’s already making a bit of a statement.

Kelly has trained with England’s senior side and made his Three Lions U21 debut this season, all while making the City left-back position his own.

The 20-year-old is definitely raw and would be a bit of a work-in-progress for Klopp, but the German manager is excellent at this sort of development role and could polish Kelly up into a gem.

He averages 2.4 clearances, 0.9 interceptions and 1.4 tackles per game – which compares fairly well to Robertson’s 1.5, 0.9 and 2.3 clearances, interceptions and tackles.

The Bristol youngster is certainly on the right track in regards to his development and perhaps a move up the Premier League would be a little early at this stage. Regardless, Kelly could be one to watch in the coming years.
