There is division in the ranks over at Old Trafford at Manchester United fans continue to fight amongst themselves before the Liverpool game.

It’s not a great time to support the Red Devils right now, and there are a fair few topics of gripe to choose from.

At the top of the list seems to be the problem of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, before descending down into the inevitable argument of whether Jose Mourinho is up to the job or not.

Scattered in between are comparisons to Liverpool that paint the Reds in a wonderful light – an irony that appears to be lost on the warring factions of Old Trafford faithful.

After last night’s shambles of a performance against Valencia, which the Spanish side won, more angry lads have taken to the airwaves to voice their opinion on the club and what has to be done before the Liverpool game on Sunday.

It seems to be a clear consensus that Pogba, who Mourinho turned from a world class dynamic midfielder into a figure of fun in two seasons, needs to get the axe. As does Lukaku, who banged in 25 goals in his last Everton season.

When the left hand isn’t talking to the right then problems are going to surface, and when those rise to the surface and splits the supporters it adds fuel to the fire.

Old Trafford is definitely an unhappy place to be right now, Mourinho has got them playing tepid football, turned their best players into the football equivalent of Twiglets and even has some hoping for a loss on Sunday.

On the other hand, the Reds are full of good cheer after beating Napoli 1-0 and securing their advancement to the next round of the Champions League.
