James Milner

James Milner just does everything for the Reds, doesn’t he? The former Leeds United youngster can play here, there, everywhere – even if he doesn’t always like it.

As the model professional, Milner will do whatever Klopp asks him to. Including playing at right-back. He did it against Bournemouth, even if the former England international didn’t like it.

Of course, United will present a different challenge than the Cherries. But Clyne was available for the trip last week and wasn’t given the chance to stake his claim for the position, which seems to indicate his Anfield days are well and truly over.

With Milner at right-back, Klopp could fit in an extra midfielder to the side. He would also bring extra leadership to the defence.
