Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

One of Klopp’s most questioned signings, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain comes in at #6 on this list. So many people thought it was a garbage transfer and a waste of £35 million given his prior performances at Arsenal and his tendency to be injury-prone.

When Ox finally started to get into the squad, he made all the difference. He immediately started building a chemistry with Mo Salah, and the two were linking up all over the pitch. The English midfielder was our kryptonite to Man City last season as well, scoring a goal in the Premier League victory, as well as the first leg of the Champion’s League quarterfinal.

Any Liverpool fan will have the words “Oh, he can hit one” engraved in their minds after that night.

We hope that soon enough Oxlade-Chamerblain will make a full recovery, and can continue to show his worth to the Anfield faithful.

Liverpool Mane Contract

Sadio Mane

At £34 million, Sadio Mane is also one of the better value players Klopp has managed to pick out. I think Sadio proved to everyone he was worth that fee in his first game against Arsenal where he scored the winning goal to lead us past the Gunners.

Since then he has proved himself as a pure finisher, someone who can beat you off the dribble and score a worldie. The Senegalese winger has 41 goals in a red shirt, and has shown that he can be one of the best attacking options in Europe on his day.

His touch is off the mark every once in awhile, but the threat he poses to defenses is a much greater risk. After finally putting pen to paper on a new contract, hopefully we will see Mane running up and down the wing for years to come.
