Jurgen Klopp’s best Liverpool signings to date ranked

Dominic Solanke
When Liverpool fans heard of this move, I think they were all a little bit excited. Joining for free from the Chelsea U21’s, Solanke was expected to really reinforce the Red’s forward line. He was a spectacle in international youth ties for England, even winning the player of the tournament at the U-20 World Cup in South Korea.
However, he has not had the same success in Merseyside. Dom gets in all the right places, but just has not been able to score goals at a high enough volume to see him start games. He finally scored his debut goal for the club last spring against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Klopp has barely used Solanke this season, and you couldn’t imagine a world in which he gets regular minutes in the second half of the campaign. Expect a loan move in January.
