Liverpool fans want Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno gone as soon as possible after their limp performance against Wolves in the FA Cup.

The Reds were beaten 2-1 by the newly promoted side as Jurgen Klopp saw his hopes of winning a domestic cup vanish before his eyes.

Klopp picked a fringe side that included 17-year-old Curtis Jones and 18-year-old Rafa Camacho among the starters, while 16-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever made his debut when Dejan Lovren limped off with just six minutes played.

But it wasn’t those promising youngsters who let down the Reds faithful, but more senior heads. Simon Mignolet, Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge have hardly featured for Liverpool this season, and it showed.

After a promising start to the season, Sturridge has really struggled for minutes and didn’t look sharp. His work rate was poor and the former England striker failed to gel with the rest of the attack.

Moreno has recently complained about his treatment under Klopp, but if this is the way the Spaniard is going to play when he’s given the chance than you can’t blame the German. Andy Robertson is the undisputed first choice left-back, but there comes a point when he needs to be rested and that moment arrived against Wolves.

But Moreno’s performance was so bad that it left fans calling for him to leave Anfield immediately. The former Sevilla man is going to run down his contract, but maybe Klopp should shift him on while the winter transfer window is open instead of prolonging the pain.

Dominic Solanke may have been sold to Bournemouth, but it’s not inconceivable to think that Divock Origi or Sturridge may be joining him on the way out in the summer.
