No. 3 – Rafa Camacho

Another interesting prospect, Rafa Camacho is a Portuguese right-back in the youth squad. Camacho recently started a game on the right side of defense for the Reds against Wolves in the FA Cup.

Against Wolves, the 18 year-old seemed oddly comfortable at the position, and was one of the sharper players in the loss. One thing he could have improved on was his positioning, as you could tell he wanted to get up the field a lot and help with the offense and deliver balls into the box. Unfortunately hes was leaving fellow youngster Ki-Jana Hoever out to dry on some occasions.

Also, Camacho featured multiple times in the Liverpool preseason tour, where he earned the respect of Klopp, rewarding him with a slight promotion. While Camacho is indeed training at Melwood with the senior squad, he is playing most of his games with the U-23 and UEFA Youth League sides, where he has buried eight goals.

Seeing that Alexander-Arnold will be sidelined with injuries for the next month, and Nathaniel Clyne has been sent out on loan, Rafa could take a spot in some vital games for the Merseysiders title challenge.
