A video of Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhüttl celebration his side’s goal against Arsenal is total feels for every Liverpool fan right now.

And that’s because of the sheer excitement generated by Rafa Benitez and Newcastle United, thanks to their 2-1 win against Manchester City.

United came from behind to see off Citeh, who had gone up inside a minute when Sergio Aguero scored. They then had another chalked off before the comeback started and Reds started dreaming.

The Magpies’ win leaves Liverpool four points clear with a game in hand, which could be extended to seven if they beat Leicester on Wednesday.

And there is the contrast: immense excitement at City’s loss, tempered immediately with the knowledge that unless Liverpool beat the Foxes it means nothing.

But let’s be honest, we’ve all started dreaming. How could you not! Especially after legend Benitez did us all such a solid and conjured up three points from thin air.

With James Milner suspended because of his red card against Wolves, Fabinho will probably be forced to play as a right-back. Fab does so for Brazil, but it will rob Liverpool of one of their better midfielders this season.

But, with every cloud comes a silver lining and it’ll give Naby Keita more time to adjust to the demands of playing under Jurgen Klopp and for the Reds.

Trent Alexander-Arnold isn’t far away from full fitness and Milner is only banned for one game, so the club’s troubles at right-back should be over soon.

Leicester are a good attacking unit who will be capable of making life difficult for Klopp’s side, but this is a team of title challengers who should be able to see off a mid-table outfit who are unsure about keeping their manager.
