Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has left fans shook while Andy Robertson laughs in the face of pressure.

Those are the headlines as the weekend closes on another round of Premier League football. Manchester City humiliated Chelsea to go top of the league, having played one game more than the Reds.

This title race looks like it’s going to be tighter than a Yorkshireman’s purse strings, but that doesn’t mean that Liverpool are feeling the pressure.

It was important to put certain doubts behind them, and the 3-0 dismantling of Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth was exactly what was needed.

James Milner served himself another assist playing from right-back. The 33-year-old now has four this season and was dangerous all afternoon against the Cherries – while Gini Wijnaldum overcame a bad stomach bug to record a seriously influential performance.

It only emerged after the game that Wijnaldum was still carrying germs and Jurgen Klopp was alarmed with the Dutchman, who could have easily passed his illness on to other members of the team.

But after the game Salah left legions of supporters all shook up after revealing his new fully shaven face, while Robertson was quick to laugh off suggestions that Klopp was feeling the pressure as the title race gets down to brass tacks.

Liverpool now have a 10 day break before taking on Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16 round, which’ll give those injured defenders plenty of time to regain their fitness before one of the biggest games of the season.
