No. 3 – Kimmich Exploitation

Joshua Kimmich is one of the best attacking full backs in Europe. However he is not one of the best defenders.

Typically he plays as an auxiliary winger, supplementing the overwhelming hordes of the Bayern attack. If he does that tomorrow then Liverpool will win at a canter.

The right back will be up against a bang in-form Sadio Mane who will keep him pinned back for most of the night.

If Kimmich does venture forward then Mane is no slouch in tracking back and keeping up his defensive duties; one of the reasons Klopp loves him so much.

But say he does get past Mane, then he has to deal with Andrew Robertson, one of the only left backs in the world that can match Kimmich for pace and stamina.

It really is a dream matchup for the Reds and an excellent way to both exploit a weakness and neutralize one of Bayern’s key attacking outlets.
