Give Daniel Sturridge another chance

Sturridge has been relegated to the substitute’s bench for most of the season and has failed to live up to that early season flush of goals.

That isn’t really his fault as opportunities have been limited, but did he show why with his stiff cameo against United?

Anyone can have a bad day, but when you have one at such a crucial time questions are going to be asked. Can Sturridge provide the movement and energy to lead from the front and harass the Watford defence? Questionable.

You’d probably rather see Lallana take up the false nine position and you’d definitely prefer to see Salah through the middle and Shaqiri on the right.

I’m sorry Dan, but it just seems like your Liverpool days are done. As for Divock Origi, has he ever been near the first team starting XI this campaign? The summer will be one of great chance for the front line, and that should be exciting.
