Liverpool vs Tottenham: Hello darkness! Huge injury news has Spurs frightened
Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon at Anfield but Spurs fans are frightened of the fixture because of some huge pre-game injury news.
The Reds are blessed with a near full squad for the first time in ages, and that means former Gunner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could play against Spurs – while Joe Gomez is also fit.
But Tottenham have no such luck, and their official Twitter account tweeted that Serge Aurier, Harry Winks and Eric Dier will all be unavailable for the Premier League clash on Sunday.
This news has sparked a campaign of misery for Spurs fans across various social media platforms, and various opinions were voiced over at Reddit.

Kieran Trippier has had a strange season after his excellent World Cup performances for England, but that’s not the player Tottenham supporters are going to miss the most. No, they’re actually really gutted about the absence of Winks.
The 23-year-old has been an important part of the squad this season and has generally impressed throughout his 25 appearances. Winks isn’t picked to be a goal threat – as his zero assists and one strikes show – but rather to provide control in midfield.
With Dier out as well, Spurs gaffer Mauricio Pochettino will be down on options and may have to turn to Victor Wanyama – although that’s something Tottenham lads definitely don’t want to see happening.
Wanyama has suffered from a little fall from grace recently and now all Pochettino has to call on is the out of form Kenyan, Moussa Sissoko and youngster Oliver Skipp.
That couldn’t be a bigger contrast to how Liverpool are shaping up and Jurgen Klopp should be able to pick a midfield that completely overwhelms Tottenham and their limit options.
Without Winks or Dier, whoever Pochettino plays will be forced to cover so much ground that they’ll be sure to run out of steam before the end of the game. Then Liverpool will pounce.
