The Spursy curse

Oh they’re all just a bit… Spursy, you know? Losses to teams like Burnley have done little to dispel this myth, especially when they came at crucial points in the season.

Tottenham are still an excellent side and their dismantling of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League proves this, but they can be their own worst enemy and the fans know that.

As mentioned previously, Spurs also have a bit of an injury problem in midfield and this could lead to them being overwhelmed in that important area. So far, so good.

Noise from the fans indicates a culture within the club that almost expects them to lose big games like this one, and that’s a huge problem for them but amazing for the Reds.
