Liverpool grind out results

One of the more annoying features of the Reds’ season is their ability to grind out results when they’re not playing well – at least, that’s what the oppo thinks.

And they’re right. It’s the mark of a good team and it’s certainly got Liverpool far this campaign. That could be the defining feature on Sunday afternoon.

But with Sadio Mane in electric form, the rest of the team can have a shocker and Mane can still pull them through in the end.

In between results like the 2-1 against Fulham there are 5-0 maulings of Watford. For a team to be able to win both ways is very dangerous and Spurs have every right to be nervous.
