That’s fifty. Mohamed Salah reached his scoring landmark and broke his cold streak with his 21st goal of the season. And what a time for him to do it. This one was straight out of last season’s vault: pick up ball in midfield; drive defenders back; turn them one way, then another; cool finish. Shirt off, abs out. The Egyptian King.. Forward. Liverpool. MO SALAH. 8

Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO. 7.5. Lots of energy (standard) and dropping deep (standard) that created space and opportunity for everyone else. He drifted wider than normal to pick the ball up allowing Salah and Mane to fill thos gaps and test the three Saints center backs with pace. Worked a treat for Salah’s goal and he teed up Henderson late on.. Forward

7. Almost brought us level in the first but couldn’t get enough direction on Salah’s cross with his header as he had to generate all the power also. Made a crucial block for the game winner and was a constant threat. No goal now in two games for Mane. Why can’t we have all our forwards scoring all the time!?!. Forward. Liverpool. SADIO MANE
