Liverpool fans have responded to the transfer rumour linking Everton star Richarlison with a move to Anfield.

Brazilian outlet UOL has reported that the Reds‘ manager Jurgen Klopp has met with the youngster’s agent and the Toffies want a massive bid of around £70 million to part with Richarlison.

This has sparked a few choice opinions among Liverpool fans over on Reddit, but the main opinion seems to be that it would be hilarious for Liverpool to buy one of the Toffies’ best players and turn him into the new Luis Suarez.

Richarlison has seen a quick rise after his move to Watford at the start of the season just gone. Marco Silva brought him from the Hornets to Liverpool and his stock has risen further, with 12 goals this season.

Comment from discussion Nitrox0’s comment from discussion "Claims from Brazil’s UOL that Richarlison’s agent has recently met Jurgen Klopp, and there’s growing interest in the forward".

Klopp is probably in the market for an attacker, and this is the same site that broke the Alisson Becker transfer news, so there is every reason to suggest that this initial meeting could be a serious one.

Three moves in three consecutive transfer windows would be a massive move for the 21-year-old, who has eight caps and three goals for the Brazilian.

The only concern would be an overhype and an over-inflation of his true fee. According to the report, Everton turned down a £50 million bid for their starlet in January and you wouldn’t think they’d be too keen to sell one of their best players.

For the Reds, Richarlison would have to accept a reduced role in the side – or Klopp would have to modify the style to fit him in. This could see a return to Roberto Firmino playing behind a main striker, which could be the Brazilian, or Sadio Mane.

Next. This is the Liverpool midfield Jurgen Klopp will start at Southampton. dark

As the Everton star has played either on the left or centrally, Mohamed Salah would probably remain where he was.
