Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea player ratings: Naby Keita inventive but how did the other mids get on?
Liverpool welcomed Chelsea to Anfield on Sunday afternoon and emerged 2-0 victors after Naby Keita put in a fine performance.
Keita hasn’t had the easiest introduction to life with the Reds, but he’s growing in stature and manager Jurgen Klopp is trusting him in big games.
Alongside Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, the former Bundesliga man has formed a potent trio and that is helping the side win games.
Henderson was effective in forward areas once again and with the protection from the other two is able to have an impact further up the pitch.
Fab is now a regular in the side. He’s a true defender and helps stop attacks before they can get going – such a vital asset to have. Fabinho made four tackles on Sunday and has convinced all of his worth.
