7. You pay big money on goalkeepers because they are the ones who’ll win you the big games with important saves, and that’s what Alisson did on Sunday when he stopped an Eden Hazard effort. The Brazilian passed the ball well and communicated with the rest of the defence effectively. His solid decision making abilities underlined Alisson’s importance. Another solid game from the former Roma man.. Goalkeeper. Liverpool. ALISSON BECKER

Defender. Liverpool. TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD. 7.25. Another good performance from Alexander-Arnold, who looked nervy at the start of the clash but grew in confidence as the game wore on. TAA was able to keep up with Willian and Hazard as the pair tried to jink their way to the goal.
The right-back carried on running past Salah and providing another aspect in attack while defending well. A couple of important interceptions also prevented Chelsea from hitting the back of the net.

7. The Scot is so energetic and gets down that left-hand side like a man possessed. This forced Willian into deeper areas of the pitch and limited the Brazilian, while Callum Hudson-Odoi found life difficult going up against the former Hull City man.
But, Robertson did get caught in possession a few times and had one nervy slip – why always against this mob!? Apart from that, Robbo put in ‘an exemplary defensive performance,’ said Sky Sports.. Defender. Liverpool. ANDY ROBERTSON
