Liverpool brushed past Porto to advance to the semi-final of the Champions League, but how did the midfielders play? Read our player ratings to find out!

Jurgen Klopp decided to leave out Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita, even though the pair had started to form a real connection.

The home side came out the blocks quickly and the trio initially found things difficult to deal with, although they did settle into a better rythem of things once they got going.

Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino scored as the forwards combined to terrorize the Porto defence – and Virgil van Dijk even grabbed one at the end to remind us all that he can do it as well.

Manchester City got the boot from Tottenham in one of the most remarkable European nights in the tournament – and now the Reds will take on Barcelona for the chance to play Spurs or Ajax in the final.
