Liverpool 2018/2019 review: All 20 loan deals ranked and rated

Liverpool have sent 20 players out on loan this season from Harry Wilson to Loris Karius. This is how we ranked and rated each deal.

A number of these are youth prospects and goalkeepers, and so didn’t get much game time. A few bounced from club to club in the hope of securing more game time, while a rare few were able to have very productive seasons.

Sending youngsters to first team football is a vital step in their development process and can really help them push for more senior football.

Liverpool have some exciting players coming through right now, and they all need to be involved at a higher standard than just Academy level.

Seasons are over, people are taking stock, making new plans and scouting around again. There’s some thinking to do and a lot of players won’t be around for 2019/2020.
