Loris Karius: 6/10

The headlines might say that Loris Karius had a terrible season at Besiktas, but the German has actually gone all right in terms of his match performance.

Karius played nearly every game, kept six clean sheets and only conceded 39 times. The 25-year-old also featured five times in the Europa League.

Admittedly there have been some bad moments for the former Mainz lad. Back in March his manager admitted that he wanted to drop Karius, while there has been some unrest with the fans.

But Karius has got vital game time under his belt and that’s important. He’s half way through a two-year loan spell and it’ll be interesting to see if he stays in Turkey for the rest.
