Danny Ings: 7/10

Danny Ings man, bless him. He was a real up-and-comer for Burnley but injuries ruined his time at Liverpool and both parties would have been ready to quit by the time Southampton came calling.

Ings went to the Saints on loan, but the move will be made permanent in the summer after he scored seven goals and assisted three others in 24 appearances.

The Reds are fully stocked in the forward line as well, so shifting the once-capped England international off the wage budget AND picking up £20 million for him is a great deal for the club.

It’s also ideal for Ings, who needed regular football and showed he can still score goals when given the chance. Next season will be a big one for the 26-year-old, who’ll want to push for England again.
