Nathaniel Clyne: 7/10

Nathaniel Clyne is a good footballer, no doubt, but just doesn’t fit in with what Jurgen Klopp wants from his full-backs and hardly featured under the German for the first half of this season.

Clyne was then allowed to join Bournemouth on loan, where he enjoyed a productive spell of football and reminded everyone what he’s got in the locker. Cherries manager Eddie Howe rates him, and reports have linked the club with a permanent move.

With just one assist in 15 games for Bournemouth, you can see why Klopp thought it was time to move on from the former Southampton player. Expect him to be sold this summer.

This move to have backfired on the Reds as if left them without specialist cover at right-back, but it was the best one for the player and you have to respect Klopp for that.
