Pedro Chirivella: 0/10

Last season Pedro Chirivella impressed at Go Ahead Eagles in the Netherlands. He played a lot, and could have earned a permanent move away from Anfield but turned down an offer from Norway.

The Reds kept him in the squad for the first half of the current campaign before sending Chirivella out to Spain with Extremadura. Except there’s only one problem: the midfielder couldn’t even play for them.

Simply put, there was an almighty clerical mess up that resulted in Chirivella not being registered in time to play in Spain. The deadline was February 1st, which the club missed.

Extremadura blamed Liverpool, or the English Football Association, or the player’s agent, or something. Anyway, Chirivella missed out on half a season of senior football and is the worst loan deal the club have done this season.
