Shamal George: 1/10

Young goalkeeper Shamal George went on a half season loan to Tranmere Rovers and wasn’t really exposed to much first team football there as George only made three appearances.

He was in and around the squad a lot though, as he was the back up stopper throughout the first half of the campaign – but failed to make his league debut.

George was given some EFL Cup time and made two starts in the EFL trophy, but that pretty much sums up his whole time with Tranmere.

The youngster has had a difficult season and was assaulted in a Liverpool bar, alongside his brother, back in March.
