Connor Randall: 1/10

The 23-year-old full-back couldn’t have got his Rochdale career off to a worse start when he fractured his cheek and was ruled out for 12 weeks and ended up playing just 40 minutes for League One action.

Randall had a decent stint at Hearts in the Scottish Premier League during 2017/2018 and would have been hoping to build on that, but injury robbed the lad of the chance.

He was a surprise selection in the Premier League squad list for the second half of the season, but failed to make an appearance and he’s now been confirmed as released.

This was a poor loan move, although more by chance than design.
