Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain relive Barca win and Champions League campaign
Liverpool players Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have relived the famous Barcalona win and the Champions League campaign, watch it here!
Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain were discussing that outrageous 4-0 win for the Reds and how the team fought to get to that point with The Anfield Wrap.
Talking about that absolutely mad night, Hendo reckoned it was the best game he’s ever been involved in during his career – and you’d be hard pressed to disagree.
But that will all change, said the former Sunderland midfielder, if Liverpool can go and win the Champions League final against Tottenham on Saturday night.
At one point Oxlade-Chamberlain chimed in and compared Henderson carrying on after picking up a knock against Barcelona to boxer Tyson Fury struggling to get off the canvas and claimed his teammate ‘came back from the dead’.
The Ox was full of praise for Henderson, and he picked out one moment when Lionel Messi was trying to turn Hendo inside out, but the Mackam stayed calm and then put in an excellent tackle to deny the Barcelona superstar.
After all the criticism that’s been levelled at Jurgen Klopp and the Reds for not winning anything despite such a tremendous seasons, this would be the perfect way to cap off a campaign that has been so good but delivered no tangible success.
Spurs will be a tough opponent but ultimately Liverpool will be favourites to win the Champions League final.
Heno is a player who picks up his fair amount of criticism but he’s shown this season what an important player he can be for the side. He also always performs in big games, and this one coming up is one of the biggest he’ll play in.

Hopefully that knee has fully recovered and the midfielder can see Liverpool home for a historic European triumph.
