James Milner

Klopp has leaned heavily on James Milner during crucial ties, with the wealth of experience, positional versatility and ridiculous work-rate that he can bring to the team.

He may start because of all of the above, but should they require somebody to come off the bench and establish a new tone to the game against a hard-working Tottenham side, Liverpool could do a lot worse than the 33-year-old.

Milner has also raked in the assists in this competition and can provide cover for both full-back positions as well as in midfield.

He’s an absolute warrior, and one of the generals in the dressing room as well. Milner could well be the new Hamann.
