The transfer window is nearly over for Liverpool but the club still need to tidy up some loose ends in regards to their outgoings.

The Reds have got a lot of promising young players on their books that need to experience something better than reserve football. Unfortunately, they’re still stagnating in the U23s squad.

Manager Jurgen Klopp may want permanent deals away from the club for some of them, or others will be worth a look at at the end of the season. But for now, they can’t afford to stay at Anfield.

Finding loan clubs can be tricky. Michael Edwards is a tough negotiator and that stance has cost them deals in the past, but it’s ultimately all done with the good of the club in mind.

Finding the right side is a science, and Liverpool normally get it right. There aren’t many deals that haven’t worked out – chief among them being Ben Woodburn’s ill-fated spell at Sheffield United.

So without much faffing about, scroll down and click through the slides to read about five transfers that still need to be done before the end of the window.

Anderson Arroyo

This is another work permit deal that needs to go through, or Anderson Arroyo will be left up the creek without a paddle.

The 19-year-old Colombian left-back was signed from Fortaleza and sent to spend time with Mallorca B in Spain and Gent in Belgium because he can’t play in England.

But with no first team appearances made across those two spells, its seems as if Arroyo just isn’t good enough for European first team football. This deal has the makings of another Allan, and that’s not pretty.

Arroyo could do with first team football to help his development, though, so this next period of time will be vital in deciding the course of his 2019/2020.
