A young Liverpool fan has knocked himself out after trying to get the attention of Mohamed Salah after the Norwich City victory.

The Reds beat the Canaries 4-1 at Anfield, with Mohamed Salah scoring his first goal of the new Premier League season.

Divock Origi and Virgil van Dijk also hit the back of the net during the comprehensive victory on Friday night, while Norwich defender Grant Hanley scored an own goal after just seven minutes.

One young fan got so carried away with the thought of meeting Salah that he accidentally knocked himself out in the process, but the King responded in the best way possible – a hug and a selfie.

Joe Cooper posted the picture on Twitter and tagged a bunch of Liverpool accounts in it to help spread the good news about Salah’s good heart. He really is a King who looks after his people.

Jurgen Klopp has put a squad together who seem to be good blokes as well as great footballers. Sadio Mane goes shopping in traditional African dress and donates money to good causes, Salah does the same while many Liverpool players are active in the community.

That all helps bring them closer to those who sit on the Kop, watch from Anfield and connect to the club from around the world.

Under Klopp they have managed to go from strength to strength and just missed out on league glory last season by one point, but still claimed the Champions League title.

In other news, Alisson Becker picked up an injury which could see him miss up to six weeks of action – said Dominic King from the Daily Mail.

That means new signing Adrian will be given an early run in between the sticks for Liverpool, but Alisson will still be back to claim his position as the first choice stopper.
