Injury Blues
Liverpool have one injury of note; Alisson Becker who left the game with Norwich City and was replaced by debutant Adrian. Chelsea on the other hand have a full treatment room.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi are both out with long-term injuries. N’golo Kante has been struggling in pre-season and came off the bench at Old Trafford but may not feature at all in Turkey.
Willian is recovering and could appear at some point but it is unlikely he play a huge role directly from injury.
The biggest loss is Antonio Rüdiger who is on the way back from knee surgery. He is a possibility to return but they surely won’t take risks with such a key player in the light of David Luiz‘ move to Arsenal.
Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount both started on Sunday, that is where the Chelsea squad is at the moment. Christian Pulisic will likely replace one of them but he has not looked ready for the season after his expoits for USMNT at the Gold Cup and will have some adapting to do to the style of play at his new club.
Jurgen Klopp has every first team outfield player available. That is a huge advantage for the Reds in the UEFA Super Cup.
