Liverpool take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday evening in the late kick-off, here are five things to watch for during the fixture.

The Reds and the Gunners will look to maintain their 100% start to the 2019/2020 campaign by picking up three points during the 5:30pm kick off.

With big matches, there will always be a lot to keep an eye on during the build up and the game – but this clash has a few things which could result in a juicy 90 minutes.

Liverpool will be a lot fresher than they were for the Southampton game, even if they tried to use advanced techniques to get over the European Super Cup hangover.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has lots of rotation options available, especially across midfield, and the Saints game proved that the manager wasn’t afraid to use them all.

So without further messing about, scroll down and click through the slides to read about five things to watch for as Liverpool look to continue their excellent start to the season.

Nicolas Pepe’s Anfield debut

In another world, Nicolas Pepe would have made his Anfield debut already and been paraded around in a different shade of red.

But ultimately, the Liverpool heirarchy decided not to spend a ridiculous amount of money for the forward and allowed Arsenal to make the move instead. And that’s fine.

That doesn’t mean that there won’t be a fair amount of interest to see how Pepe goes on Saturday afternoon though, and if he does well, there may well be a couple of questions asked about this summer’s recruitment policy.

So far the former Lille man has been restricted to substitute appearances, but with a few minutes under his belt and a big game on the horizon, could this be the time he’s unleashed?
