Liverpool 3-1 Arsenal: What you missed as van Dijk went rogue and FIFA Street Bob came out to play
Virgil van Dijk went rogue and Roberto Firmino thought he was in the live-action version of FIFA Street. Here’s what you missed as Liverpool beat Arsenal.
Big games like this one can be dull – but they also have massive potential to entertain, and even if they bore you to tears there are always going to be interesting moments that you missed. Luckily, you’ve come to the right place.
Whether that’s a player doing something dumb, trying something wack or even wearing something a little out of the ordinary, there is no way you can take it all in.
We’re not that Eagle eyed at the best of times, and definitely not when there are a thousand little bits and bobs going on at any one time.
And as Liverpool always have the ability to mix things up, create and delight, keeping track of all of that would be even more difficult. So just have a look down this article for all the stuff that’ll tickle your fancy.
Virg has gone rogue
The Dutchman has had enough. Something has snapped inside his brain and it’s been laid bare for the world to see. Because, ladies and gents, van Dijk was snapped wearing his all red socks yesterday!
That’s right – he said no thanks to the white styled one, threw them in the bin and grabbed the old trust reds out the drawer instead. The kit team must be dismayed!
Will he start a full rebellion among the rest of the team? Stand by for more!
Firmino thought he was playing live-action FIFA Street
Oh you just love to see it don’t you, as Bobby made something so hard look so so easy. With the outside of his boot the Brazilian flicked the ball up and around the Arsenal defence and hit a sweet-as-a-nut first time volley.
It deserved a goal, it really did. But unfortunately the Gods aren’t that kind.
Reverse curse?
The curse has been reversed, it’s a reverse curse! And that should mean good luck now forever and ever – because Liverpool have a celeb fan that isn’t making life tricky for them.
Nobody wants Drake turning up wearing their gear, but could LeBron be the good omen? The NBA star loves Liverpool, loves Salah and loves when we win. Let’s keep it up, yeah?
