Liverpool fans are backing Sadio Mane after his angry outburst towards Mohamed Salah during the Reds’ 3-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League.

A routine Premier League win for Liverpool Football Club over Burnley at Turf Moor was given a little drama as Sadio Mane got angry with his teammate Mohamed Salah towards the end of the game.

Liverpool were cruising 3-0 up with just over five minutes of regulation time left when Salah wriggled free of a couple of defenders to create a yard of space.

Instead of switching the ball to wide open Mane, the Egyptian cut one more time allowing for an excellent last-ditch tackle from the Burnley defender to deny a goal.

Mane seemed incensed that Salah had not passed him the ball and looked visibly annoyed on the side line after he was shortly substituted for Divock Origi.

Salah had already had one greedy moment, trying a shot 10 minutes earlier at 2-0 when he could have passed to an open Roberto Firmino. However, the Egyptian did get an assist minutes after that incident as he laid off the ball for the Brazilian to get his 50th league goal for the club.

Liverpool fans on social media are backing Mane. They like seeing the passion and striving for perfection:

It was a tiny piece of drama. The only thing of particular note after a kind of win that has become clockwork for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Reds took it to 13 Premier League wins in a row – the longest streak in the club’s history. They are undefeated in the last 21 league games and have only lost once of the last 43 in that competition.
