The fairytale ending

And so, finally, we arrive at the fairytale ending. Rangers finally got their man, Kent finally got his move and Liverpool finally got their money. Everyone is happy.

Kent can look forward to another season of first team involvement, even if he did miss preseason with ‘Gers, he should be able to pick things up fairly quickly.

Gerrard gets his potent attacking weapon, one who scored six and assisted nine in over 40 first team appearances during 2018/2019.

For the 22-year-old, this ends an association with the club that will have felt difficult at times. After an excellent spell with Barnsley, it all came crashing down with Freiburg and Bristol City as he struggled for games.

Next. Three winners and three losers from the 2019 summer transfer window. dark

But now we can all move on. It didn’t look like it at times, but this four part summer of discontent has ended well for everyone involved and hopefully it can transform itself into a beautiful awesome autumn.
