Liverpool take on Leicester City on Saturday in the Premier League and Gini Wijnaldum needs to take a spell on the bench. Read our predicted team here!

Jurgen Klopp will send the boys out with instructions to defend better than they did against Salzburg on Wednesday, and some squad rotation would be advisable after the side put in a good shift during the week.

Georginio Wijnaldum has been a key part of the side and contributed a rare goal as Liverpool scraped past Sheffield United 1-0 last week, but now is the time for him to warm the bench and let some other combinations run riot.

Wijnaldum has had a few average games for the Reds and with plenty of options around Klopp needs to keep the squad match ready by making a couple of changes.

Some of those will be enforced through injury – the manager delivered some good and some bad news during his conference – and some due to creative differences.

Xherdan Shaqiri is out with his calf problem that he sustained while on international duty – Shaqiri is yet to start a game this season and his difficult second campaign continues with little light at the end of the tunnel.

Leicester are flying high and sit third in the league. Brendan Rodgers has his players performing with confidence and freedom and they’re definitely a dangerous unit who will test a defense that has creaked at times.
