Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita

Wijnaldum has had a good run but it’s time to freshen things up in midfield and that means Keita deserves to play.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also has a good chance of being involved and he’ll give Liverpool many of the same qualities as Keita – while Wijnaldum can come on from the bench to provide the control Klopp requires from Gini.

Fabinho is so hard to drop because he screens the defense like no other player in the whole squad, while Henderson is the captain and normally plays every game he’s available.

Keita needs more minutes to get that match fitness back. It’s been coming but he’s not really there yet, but we know Klopp believes in the former RB Leipzig man and we should see him more this season.

An honorable mention goes out to Adam Lallana, who appears as if he’s been reduced to the role of a club mascot. But the competition for places is so intense that it’s unlikely he’ll make a league start while the club is relatively injury free.
