Steven Gerrard loved a goal against Manchester United and he loved kissing the camera after. This one was a bit more straight forward – just a penalty – but it showed his captain’s material by firing home past Edwin van der Sar.

Gerrard then sprinted away, did a swan dive and then kissed the camera. What a beautiful human bring Stevie is! He was such a special player and such a special man to have around Anfield for so long – he’s a true one club legend.

We have an excellent midfield but you just know Klopp would love Gerrard to be available for the United game on Sunday and I’m sure Gerrard would love to play under the German.

Gerrard is now doing good things as manager of Rangers and is currently top of the league and lead Celtic by three points. Looks like his time in management is going as well as his time playing against United!
