Liverpool had an excellent October but there are still players who can offer more throughout November.

With Carabao Cup advancement safely navigated after that breathless victory over Arsenal, Champions League wins against Salzburg and Genk and continued Premier League success, nobody can argue that it’s been a bad month.

But not everything is sunshine and rainbows over Anfield and there are some squad members who need to do more for Jurgen Klopp is they are to retain – or claim – their place in the starting team for the next run of games.

Liverpool take on Aston Villa on Saturday in their first fixture in November, before games against Genk, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Napoli and Brighton.

Phew.

And if that’s not enough, those will gave way to the madhouse of December and the New Year. There’s loads of action to come, and an excellent 30 days now could make all the difference for the rest of 2019/2020.
