Three players who smashed it in October
Liverpool played with passion in October as they marched towards Premier League, Champions League and cup glory. These are the best players from the month.
This isn’t an article that’ll focus on how good Sadio Mane was or the skill of Mohamed Salah. Nor will it consider Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson or Virgil van Dijk. You know, the obvious ones.

Progression in the League Cup will give those fringe players further chances to impress while also keeping them fit for when Jurgen Klopp calls on them in the top flight.
Wins against Salzburg in the Champions League, Leicester City, Genk, Tottenham, Arsenal and a draw against Manchester United meant it was a very productive month for Liverpool – who sit at the top of the league and are well primed to make it to the next stage in Europe.
