Liverpool vs Man City predicted team: No room for the Ox as Hendo comes in
Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum
Klopp confirmed that Jordan Henderson is fit to play Saturday’s match after an illness ruled him out of the Genk fixture. Hence, the Liverpool captain could be back in the starting XI. Fabinho will undoubtedly start and will hope to be the solid, tenacious figure in midfield he usually is.
Georginio Wijnaldum should take up the final starting spot in the middle of the park. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has produced some fine performances this season so far and has scored more goals than any Liverpool midfielder. However, for a match of such magnitude, Klopp might prefer his regular starters.
Wijnaldum and Henderson will also offer more stability in the engine room and that could be what the German will want to see out the opening exchanges of the game.
There is a good chance that either of Oxlade-Chamberlain or James Milner can come on as a substitute during the match. Milner is a huge experienced campaigner and his leadership could be very useful as the fixture draws to a close.
