FABINHO . 9. Fabinho put in one of his finest performances for the Reds as he scored a worldy and disrupted the flow of City’s attacks for the rest of the 90 minutes. The Brazilian could have done better for their goal as Kevin de Bruyne ‘brushed’ him off too easily, but apart from that it was an incredible performance from Fab.<br />. Midfielder. Liverpool

7.5. Got over his illness to provide an assist for the third goal with a gorgeous cross and was industrious in the middle of the park. Henderson only lasted an hour, probably because he was still feeling the effects of his time off sick, but put in a performance that reminded us all of his best qualities.<br />. Midfielder. Wijnaldum was much improved after his stinker of a game against Aston Villa as the former Newcastle man displayed the undoubted match intelligence that he so clearly possesses. Gini brought skill, power and lots and lots of running to the engine room and combined formidably with Henderson.<br />
