Liverpool continued their good run of form this season by beating Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park yesterday.

The Eagles appeared to have taken the lead after James Tomkins slotted in but VAR disallowed the goal after a foul was made on Dejan Lovren. Liverpool eventually opened the scoring in the second half thanks to their main man Sadio Mane.

However, Roy Hodgson’s side managed to equalise courtesy of Wilfried Zaha, who finally opened his goal account for 2019/20.

Shortly after, Roberto Firmino won the match for Liverpool through a left-footed shot. The win maintained the Reds’ eight point lead at the top of the Premier League table and they are yet to endure a domestic defeat.

Liverpool next play Napoli at Anfield on Wednesday before playing Brighton and Hove Albion next weekend.

Now, let’s take a look at five things we learned from the win at Selhurst Park and don’t forget to voice your opinions in the comments below.
