Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah

After sitting out the Palace game, Salah will be back for the Reds fifth game of the group stage. Between 2017-18 and the 2018-19 season, Salah has 15 goals in the Champions League.

Getting him back, and likely at full strength is a huge win for Liverpool. Even without him, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino can be effective. But with him, the trio is on an entirely different level.

Salah adds that extra step of pace on the flank to pull defensive lines wide and open up holes for the other two or for a marauding forward to abuse.

Mané is on another level right now. His eight goals in the league have him tied for the fourth most with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Add another two goals in four Champions League matches for the Senegalese striker and you can see why he’s so important for Liverpool.

Firmino might not have the goals totals of the other two forwards on the team, but his work to hold the ball, find gaps, or create them is so vital to Liverpool’s offense that you can’t leave him on the bench for such an important game.

If there’s a late injury or a concern that any of the front three aren’t 100 percent fit Jurgen Klopp will certainly opt to give a start to Liverpool legend Divock Origi.
