Liverpool play Brighton on Saturday and we think Sadio Mane will be left out the side as well as one other surprise call. See our predicted team here.

Jurgen Klopp has an excellent record against the Seagulls, although the last two victories have been to tighter margins than he would have liked.

In January a sole Mohamed Salah goal separated the two sides. Three points is three points, but everyone would like to see a more convincing result against one of the weaker sides in the competition.

Liverpool haven’t been at their most fluent best this season and were poor offensively against Napoli on Wednesday night. However, the Reds play Everton on Wednesday night and backroom staff will have one eye on that game as well – which means changes could be made for Saturday afternoon.

It’s important to go into that clash with renewed confidence and swagger and Klopp should look to be a bit more adventurous at home against Brighton. So with that in mind, scroll down and click through the slides to see who we’ve picked for our predicted team.

Liverpool vs Brighton predicted team Alisson

Alisson

Alisson starts in goal. He’s not injured so he starts. The Brazilian will be keen to grab a clean sheet after so many failed attempts and this could be his moment.

Brighton aren’t scoring a lot of goals and the Reds defence should be strong enough to repel the advances of Neal Maupay and company.
