Liverpool have ended November with an impressive run of form that took them 11 points clear of second place in the Premier League and to the cusp of the last 16 in the Champions League.
But as always, there are players who need to step up if they are to keep their place in the side and reward Jurgen Klopp’s faith in the team.
Klopp likes to stick with a few familiar faces but there is good strength in depth around the first team and the usual suspects need to know they aren’t indispensable. But pressure coming from the squad will keep players on their toes and playing for their place – which is something every team needs.
December will be a hectic month for Liverpool and they have an incredibly workload to try and manage. That will mean rotation is the name of the game but a key core will probably feature more often than not.
Starting with Everton on Wednesday, these three players will have to start putting their best foot forward in order to convince Klopp to keep them in the side. We have nearly a full strength squad and there will be people itching to get on the field.
